Kirkland police arrest juvenile in stabbing incident

Kirkland police arrested a juvenile male after a fight in the 132nd Square Park around 6:46 p.m. on Dec. 14.

Officers located a juvenile male with two stab wounds in his right leg. Another juvenile male was contacted at a nearby residence where he had fled after stabbing the first juvenile.

The victim was transported to EvergreenHealth and treated for non-life threatening wounds.

The second juvenile was arrested for 2nd-degree assault and transported to a juvenile facility. The individuals knew each other and the confrontation was a result of accusations and comments conducted mostly over social media sites.
