Orienteering USA has announced that Will Enger of Kirkland will represent the United States at the 2015 World Orienteering Championships. The championships will be held from July 31 to Aug. 7 in Inverness, Scotland.
Enger is one of seven senior male athletes who will be competing for the United States. Enger will serve as an alternate.
Orienteering is a race in wilderness navigation where the athlete uses a map and compass to complete a course as quickly as possible over miles-long terrain. For more information on orienteering, visit www.orienteeringusa.org
