The Seattle Synchronized Swim Team will welcome home 2008 US Olympic Synchronized Swim Team member Jillian Penner Sept. 11 to their nightly practice session at St. Edward State Park in Kenmore.
Penner will practice with the team’s 12 and under squad from 6-7 p.m. at the Carole Ann Wald Memorial Pool and share Olympic stories and sign autographs from 7-8 p.m. Members of the general public are welcome to stop by the pool during practice to catch a glimpse of the Olympic synchronized swimmer in her element.
The Seattle Synchronized Swim Team will also hold a free “Try-It” session open to interested swimmers and the general public on Saturday, Sept. 20th from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the St. Edward State Park pool facility.
