The Kirkland Downtown Association is committed to fostering relationships and giving to organizations that address social and economic needs in our community. A group of downtown merchants, led by “A” Liengboonlertchai owner of Simplicity Décor, have come together to assist three non-profits during this holiday season. In the month of December, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, shop at participating businesses and 10-15 percent of proceeds will go to benefit Hopelink, MEOW Cat Rescue, and Kirkland Teen Union Building. On Dec. 2, proceeds will benefit the Kirkland Teen Union Building; Dec. 8-9, Hopelink; and Dec. 15-16,MEOW.
