The Juanita High School baseball team traveled to Renton Friday for a game against the Patriots, losing during the bottom of the seventh on a walk-off hit, 10-9.
Liberty managed to build a 4-0 lead through the first two innings, but the Rebels came back with a vengeance, scoring seven runs during the top of the third and fourth innings. The teams traded one-run innings until Liberty broke through to tie the game at 9-9 during a three-run sixth.
One of the biggest issues for Juanita during the game was its defense, committing five errors.
The Rebels’ Weston Railton led Juanita, going 5-for-5 with two stolen bases.
The team will travel to Woodinville today for a 7 p.m. first pitch.
