Kirkland lost its “First Lady” this week and I for one just wanted to say thank you JoMae Woods for reminding us what a true lady is and how she how she brings out the best in all of us. You always seemed a little embarrassed when I introduced you as the “First Lady” of Kirkland but you truly were. I don’t expect in my lifetime to ever meet another such as yourself because they just don’t make them like you anymore. You were always the ultimate lady and we all felt more like ladies when we were with you. David and I and the entire City of Kirkland are going to miss you more than you will ever know.
