Kirkland residents, businesses encouraged to report wind storm damage

Kirkland residents and business owners who received physical damage to their home and/or premises from the windstorm that occurred on Monday, Nov. 15, are encouraged to report the damage to the Kirkland Office of Emergency Management.

Kirkland residents and business owners who received physical damage to their home and/or premises from the windstorm that occurred on Monday, Nov. 15, are encouraged to report the damage to the Kirkland Office of Emergency Management.

Business owners who suffered economic injury as a result of the windstorm should also report that information. This initial damage information will be compiled and assessed to determine if citizens and/or businesses in the state may qualify for federal assistance in recovering from this storm.

Damage information should be reported in writing by Nov. 22 to Stephanie Day, Emergency Preparedness coordinator, Kirkland Fire & Building Department at sday@ci.kirkland.wa.us. For more information, call 425-587-3630.
