Suraphong “A” Liengboonlertchai of Kirkland’s Simplicity Décor hosted a benefit for Seattle’s Rosehedge organization on July 29 that raised more than $1,770 to support the organization’s work.

Rosehedge, founded in 1988, is one of the nation’s first organizations dedicated to supporting and caring for individuals living with HIV/AIDS. It provides housing and 24-hour care to men and women no longer able to care for themselves.

The event was attended by Kirkland Mayor James L. Lauinger and his wife, Karen, together with a large gathering of individuals from the Eastside and Seattle.
