An Issaquah man charged with robbing a Subway store in Kirkland earlier this month pleaded not guilty in court this morning.
Ryan Arthur Mashek, 30, pleaded not guilty to first-degree robbery during an arraignment hearing at King County Superior Court. His case setting hearing is scheduled for Aug. 7.
Mashek is being held on a $250,000 bail for allegedly robbing, at gunpoint, a Subway store, located in the Totem Lake neighborhood at 11613 124th Ave. NE on July 7.
After help from a witness, police were able to locate Mashek in his alleged getaway vehicle and arrest him.
Upon receiving a search warrant for the vehicle, police found $160 in cash, an Airsoft pistol and clothing in the back of the seat that matched the suspect’s description.
The two men’s cases, who were in the car that picked up Mashek, have not been referred to the King County Prosecutor’s Office, a prosecutor’s office spokesman said.
