A 29-year-old man was arrested in Redmond Monday for hit and run following a car crash in Kirkland and extensive search by police and the King County Sheriff Office’s Guardian 1 helicopter.

The prosecutor reported that Chase Jones was traveling at 112 mph when he crashed into the victims.
Gov. Bob Ferguson says federal funds are needed to address $34 million in damage caused by the storm, and that the state will appeal.
