Students at Kirkland Middle School (KiMS) will now be able to learn more about Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) topics at their school’s library.

Richard Snyder, teacher librarian at KiMS, received a “Future STEMs from Reading” grant from the Washington State Library for 55 STEM-related books for the library. The collections will be shelf ready (i.e., the books will have jackets and appropriate spine labels). The collections are materials from the 500 and 600 Dewey numbers. Most copyrights are post 2012.
