Rapid transit on the Cross Kirkland Corridor is unsafe, unnecessary | Letter

I have been a downtown Kirkland resident for four years and I am also a small business owner. I moved here from Bellevue because of Kirkland’s unique charm. The water front, bridle trails, and the beautiful new CKC (Cross Kirkland Corridor) are just few examples of what makes Kirkland so unique.

Adding rapid transit on the Cross Kirkland Corridor is unsafe, unnecessary and not what Kirkland residents want. Councilmembers that are in support of this are clearly out of touch and are not doing their jobs as representatives of this city.

I will oppose ST3 if it includes transit on the CKC.
