Kirkland’s waterfront hotel invites guests to decorate cookies, enjoy holiday treats and celebrate the season with Santa during the Woodmark Hotel’s first annual holiday tea to benefit Hopelink. The event runs from 2-4 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Woodmark, 1200 Carillon Point. Tickets are $40 per adult, $20 per child and includes one picture with Santa.
Offering the perfect way to celebrate the holiday season, guests will spend the afternoon enjoying hot beverages, holiday-themed treats and decorating cookies. Santa will make a special guest appearance at the tea, where guests will have the chance to take pictures and provide him with their holiday wish lists. In addition, each child will take home their very own sailboat-shaped cookie cutter and cookie recipe.
A portion of the proceeds from the Holiday Tea with Santa will benefit Hopelink, a local non-profit helping families, senior citizens and people with disabilities. Since 1971, Hopelink has served homeless and low-income families, children, seniors and people with disabilities in North and East King County by promoting self-sufficiency for all members of the community.
