The Family Learning Center/BEST High School will hold a giant spring cleaning recycle event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 25 in the high school parking lot, at 10903 N.E. 53rd St., Kirkland.

The event allows community members to bring appliances, electronics, and other recyclables to the BEST/FLC parking lot and have them hauled away. The school is asking a for a “free-will” donation for everyone who comes.

If you were planning to pay to recycle, then bring your items to this event and let your money count as a charitable donation to the FLC/ASB Activities Fund. You simply drop off your items, and representatives give a receipt that you can use for your taxes next year.

Got stuff for a garage sale, but not enough to make it worth your time?

Bring your clothing, household items such as dishes, cookware, or other salable items to the school’s parking lot to donate to the garage sale. Your donations will be sold at the BEST Garage Sale in May to benefit graduation and other student activities at BEST High School.
