The Lake Washington High School baseball team defeated Liberty, 7-2, on Friday in Renton.

The Kangs scored in every inning except the first and fifth, while starting pitcher Ryan Horita threw five innings, struck out three and gave up six hits for the win.

Jared Menssen led the Kangs on offense, going 2-for-2 with a home run and three RBI.

Lake Washington will host Mercer Island at 4 p.m. today.
