The Juanita High School boys basketball team fell to Mercer Island, 66-53, on Tuesday in Kirkland.

The Islanders began the contest with a 15-10 edge but the Rebels cut that lead back to just three points by halftime. But a big third quarter for Mercer Island saw the team take a 10 point lead into the fourth quarter, as they cruised to the victory.
