The 2009 Kirkland Canine Festival will take place Saturday, July 25, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with vendor booths, demonstrations and tricks at Crestwoods Park located at 1900 6th St.
Many dog contests will be available including: All the Best Pet Care Bobbing for tennis balls; Invisible Fence NW’s Owner/Dog musical chairs; Flyball Demonstrations by Cascade Comets; Agility Demonstrations by Every-Buddy’s Agility; Rally Obedience Demonstrations by Alison D. White and Dane Outreach and Cascade Classic Canine Disc Championship. All contests are limited to 15 entrants. There is even a dog food eating competition for dogs. Admission is free.
