Puget Sound Energy will host a stakeholder advisory group meeting for the proposed Sammamish-Juanita 115 kV Transmission Line Project in Kirkland.

The meeting will run from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26 at the Baymont Inn and Suites, 1223 NE 116th St. in Kirkland.

PSE is planning a new 115 kilovolt (kV) transmission line to provide additional system capacity and improve system reliability to meet customers’ current and future energy needs in Redmond and Kirkland.

The new line is anticipated to be approximately 4 miles in length running from the Sammamish substation in Redmond to or near the Juanita substation in Kirkland.
