The Lake Washington High School girls basketball team lost at Woodinville High School, 54-37, on Wednesday.

The Falcons doubled up the Kangs during the first quarter 18-9. Lake Washington never gave up, cutting into the lead by three points during the second quarter and playing even during the third. But Woodinville would put the game away during the final eight minutes of play with a 15-4 run.

Kang Sydney Shepard led all scorers with 17 points.
