To encourage student participation in local environmental stewardship projects and enhance student understanding of community service and philanthropy, Washington Foundation for the Environment (WFFE) awards multiple $500 grants annually to support student-initiated or student-implemented environmental projects meeting local needs.
Washington state high school students are encouraged to apply for a grant to support an environmental project. WFFE accepts applications for stewardship grants between September and June. For more information, visit www.wffe.org/studentstewardship.htm.
