At approximately 2 am. Friday morning, Kirkland Police Patrol units received a 911 call of a possible Armed Robbery in the 8200 block of NE 145th Street.
The male victim stated that a white male in his 40’s robbed him of $800.00 cash and his cell phone. The suspect was reported to have had a handgun and also held a large knife to the victim’s throat.
The suspect left in a white sedan which was occupied by two other male subjects and one female subject.
The victim stated that the female was his girlfriend and he initially reported that the male subjects took her against her will.
It was later determined that the female knew some of the subjects in the vehicle so it is not clear at this time if she was abducted. A broadcast of the vehicle and suspect descriptions was made to surrounding agencies.
Approximately 20 minutes later, WSP Troopers located the vehicle on south bound I-405 and stopped it on SE 38th Street in Factoria.
Three male subjects, including the described suspect, and the female were detained or arrested without incident and transported to the Kirkland Police Station for interviews and potential booking for Armed Robbery. Kirkland PD Detectives are currently still interviewing the involved parties and investigating the details of this incident.
