Northwest University’s Michael Dupree scored a team high 29 points to help lift the Eagles to a 93-81 Cascade Conference win on Wednesday in the Quinn Coliseum in Oregon.
Dupree hit 47 percent of his shots (6-17) and 50 percent of his three-point attempts, to help lift the Eagles to their third CCC win.
Shooting 44 percent in the first half, the Eagles broke a 14-14 tie at 10:17, to lead the remainder of the half building a 15 point, 43-28, lead at halftime. Four straight points by Dak Shagren with 49 seconds left on the clock helped the Eagles increase their lead.
In addition to Dupree, Northwest U (7-9, 3-3 CCC) received 18 points from Dak Shagren and 17 from Ben Tucakovic. Dupree also led the team in assists with six for the game. NU shot 54 percent in the second half and 48 percent for the game. The Eagles were also 25 of 31 from the foul line for 85 percent.
NU now travels to Caldwell to play the College of Idaho tonight in another CCC game tipping off at 6:30 p.m.
