Drivers on Interstate 405 in Kirkland should prepare for possible delays Saturday evening, June 13, through Sunday morning, June 14.

Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will close up to three lanes of southbound I-405 between Northeast 160th Street and Northeast 124th Street starting at 7 p.m. Saturday. The first lane will reopen by 7:30 a.m. Sunday and all lanes will reopen by noon.

These closures are needed to complete traffic shift and shot blast abrasion work for the I-405 Bellevue to Lynnwood Widening and Express Toll Lanes project.
