The city of Kirkland has launched an interactive map that allows for the quick and easy search of current and proposed capital improvement projects.

By logging onto http://maps.kirklandwa.gov/ you can search by location to find out the status (e.g. design, construction, completion) of the project, its funding, and the project manager’s contact information.

Projects include streets, intersection improvements, sidewalk installations, water and sewer utility improvements, flood mitigation, and pedestrian safety enhancements. The online map includes a feature to submit a suggested project. The map can be accessed from your computer or certain mobile devices (using the most current version of Firefox, Chrome, Safari, or Internet Explorer).

The city’s Capital Improvement Program addresses construction, repair, maintenance and acquisition of major capital facilities and equipment. It is developed in conjunction with the biennial budget.
