The following is a release from the Jane Hague campaign:

King County Councilmember Jane Hague has been endorsed by the Washington Federation of State Employees Local 1488 (WFSE). WFSE represents 3,300 state employees including healthcare providers at Harborview Medical Center.

This is the second organization representing Harborview employees to endorse Jane. Earlier this year Jane was endorsed by SEIU 1199, which represents nurses and healthcare workers at Harborview.

“The healthcare providers and staff at Harborview Medical Center work tirelessly to make Harborview the world class facility that it is,” Hague said. “They deserve an advocate that will work equally as hard to deliver the resources needed to provide the level of care that is expected from families on the Eastside and across King County.”

Jane Hague has been endorsed by a broad, bipartisan group including democrats and republicans, business and labor, law enforcement and firefighters and mayors and city councilmembers from around the region.

Jane Hague represents District 6, which includes the communities of Bellevue, Kirkland, Mercer Island, Redmond, Medina, Clyde Hill, Hunts Point, Beaux Arts, Woodinville, and Yarrow Point.
