Lake Washington baseball loses to Woodinville, 8-4

The Lake Washington baseball team dropped their second game this week on Wednesday, as Woodinville scored four unearned runs during the bottom of the sixth to take the contest, 8-4.

Lake Washington scored two runs during the top of the third, as junior Alex Donnelly clubbed a fastball over the center field wall. Woodinville got one of the runs back during the bottom of the inning and then tied the game it during the bottom of the fourth.

The Kangs regained the lead during the fifth with RBI singles by Donnelly and Bob Cruikshank.

Woodinville tied the game back up during the bottom of the inning.

Lake Washington was led on offense by Donnelly, who was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and three RBI, including the home run.

The Kangs will play at 7 p.m. tonight at Inglemoor High School.
