Tea Adams nearly accounted for half of the Juanita High School girls basketball team’s points Friday, as the Rebels defeated Lake Washington, 48-35, in Kirkland.

The teams played to a stale mate on the scoreboard during the first quarter but Juanita dominated the second quarter to take a 28-19 lead into halftime. Lake Washington managed to keep pace during the second half but never cut into the Rebel lead.

Jaisa Nunn scored 13 points for Juanita during the contest.
