Volunteers are needed for Kirkland Summerfest – Kirkland’s largest festival of music, art, food, and culture, taking place August 9, 10, and 11, in downtown Kirkland.
Admission to Kirkland Summerfest is free.
Many opportunities exist for volunteers to have fun and help this community event transform Kirkland’s Marina Park and downtown into a lively arts and entertainment destination.
Most shifts are just three hours long, so volunteers will have plenty of time to enjoy the festival.
Activities include: Shakespeare in the Park, live music on several stages, Northwest Folklife, Cardboard Boat Regatta, Fish Frolic along Lake Washington, Rotary Duck Dash, gourmet food trucks, kids games and rides, Touch-a-Truck, TechZone with Robotics, Young Artists Exhibition, street performers, Dragonboat Races, beer and wine garden, artist and business booth, Street Team* and photographers*.
Volunteers can sign up for shifts online at volunteerkirkland.com or contact Michelle Sailor at msailor@comcast.net.
