Virginia Mason Kirkland is now seeing patients at a new location in the Evergreen Plaza Building. The clinic will occupy the entire third floor in the building located at 11800 N.E. 128th Street in Kirkland.
“Patients have always received the highest quality care at Virginia Mason Kirkland,” said Shirl Diaz, clinic director. “Now our patients will have the additional benefit of a visually pleasing environment designed around their needs.”
The new facility is designed to improve flow in the delivery of health care and remove centralized waiting areas. Patients are immediately directed to a personal exam room when they arrive at the front desk. This streamlined process allows for quicker access to care and lessened exposure to contagions in a waiting room. The majority of care (including weight, height and eye exams) is conducted in personal exam rooms. Patients access exam rooms from an exterior hallway while medical flow and supplies are kept behind the scenes in a central location. This allows for doctors and care providers to enter from back doors allowing for less wait time.
The new clinic will host an open house Thursday, April 2, from 6-8 p.m. Community members can tour the facility and see how the new amenities and care delivery are centered on the patient.
