King County GOP announces precinct caucus locations

The King County Republican Party along with the other 38 Republican County Central Committees within the Washington State Republican Party will be holding its Presidential Precinct Caucuses at 10 a.m. on Feb. 20 at 10 a.m.

The King County Republican Party along with the other 38 Republican County Central Committees within the Washington State Republican Party will be holding its Presidential Precinct Caucuses at 10 a.m. on Feb. 20 at 10 a.m.

Precinct caucus locations will be in pooled configurations located centrally throughout each of the 16 Legislative Districts in King County to lessen confusion for attendees and ensure maximum participation opportunity.

Per the Washington State Republican Party Rules for Precinct Caucuses and for Election of Delegates to the State Convention and National Conventions of 2016, delegates will be elected to represent the voting results of the May 24 Presidential Primary at the RNC National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio.

Doors will open at 9 a.m. with caucuses called to order promptly at 10 a.m. More information can be found by contacting your Legislative District Chairman at http://www.kcgop.org/staff-category/district-chairs/.

Photo identification and proof of voter registration are required to participate at the precinct caucus. Individuals who wish to participate at the King County Republican Party precinct caucuses who are not registered to vote, or need to make changes to their voter registration should do so as soon as possible by contacting King County Elections at http://www.kingcounty.gov/depts/elections/how-to-vote/register-to-vote.aspx.
