The Lake Washington softball team found itself down 5-2 after two-and-a-half innings Wednesday, but battled back to beat Patriots 11-6.
A five-run third inning and four more in the fourth pushed the team to the win as Audrey Sundene threw all seven innings. Sundene picked up the win by allowing just three earned runs, walking four and striking out three batters.
But Sundene was even more effective at the plate, going 2-for-4 with five RBI and two home runs. Whitney Dunlap went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI and two doubles.
