Between March 15-21, the Kirkland Police Department reported 511 traffic violations (five DUIs), two animal calls, 28 alarm calls, 10 noise complaints, 17 calls of disturbance, 13 thefts, 13 car prowls, five car thefts, 12 calls of civil disturbance, six reported burglaries, 19 domestic violence calls, 13 calls for harassment, two alleged assaults, eight acts of fraud and three malicious mischief reports. At least 27 people were arrested.

March 21

Domestic violence: 9:30 p.m., 10200 block of N.E. 122nd St. A 61-year-old woman allegedly assaulted her 66-year-old sister after an argument.

March 20

Domestic violence: 9 p.m., 12400 block of 110th Ln. N.E. A 41-year-old man was arrested for slapping his 32-year-old girlfriend during an argument at their apartment.

Theft: 9:01 p.m., 200 block of Parkplace Ctr. A 50-year-old man, who was suspected of stealing alcohol from QFC, was found at the transit center with nine bottles of liquor. QFC employees positively identified the man and he was arrested for theft in addition to a felony and misdemeanor warrant from Bellevue and Seattle.

March 19

Warrant: 12:04 a.m., 14000 block of 80th Ave. N.E. A 22-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding theft warrant from Bellevue.

March 18

Domestic violence: 7:55 p.m., 600 block of 10th Ave. An 18-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence harassment after sending threatening messages to his 17-year-old ex-girlfriend on Facebook.

March 17

Obstructing: 11:37 p.m., 12000 block of 129th Ln. N.E. A 25-year-old man was arrested for trying to block officers from entering an apartment officers were called to after receiving reports of a physical fight. The man had to be physically removed and resisted arrest all the  way to the patrol vehicle.

Domestic violence: 12:52 p.m., 14300 block of 109th Ave. N.E. A 16-year-old boy was arrested after he left his house armed with a knife. Initially, parents read in his journal he wanted to kill himself, but after he was arrested, he said he wanted to kill his family with the knife.

March 16

Domestic violence: 9:40 p.m., 12000 block of 102nd Ct. N.E. A 30-year-old woman was taken into custody after she and her boyfriend got into a physical fight following an argument over her alcohol consumption. When her boyfriend tried to leave with their 3-year-old son, the woman allegedly scratched, bit and hit her boyfriend to keep him from leaving.

Assault: 12 a.m., 9700 block of N.E. 120th Pl. A 23-year-old intoxicated man was arrested for assaulting a 35-year-old bouncer at Juanita Pub.
