We oppose any kind of rapid transit on the Cross Kirkland Corridor. No matter how clean-running light rail cars or electric buses might be, they are noisy and would despoil the nature and intent of this walking/biking trail, even if they ran 30-feet away.
Instead, put rapid transit on the new, underused express-toll lanes on I-405. That could be done almost immediately.
