The Juanita girls advanced to a 5-1 league record after beating Mount SI 52-36 on Dec. 15 in the Wildcats gym.
The team never trailed in the win as Mikayla Jones posted the team high of 16 points, followed by Bre Carter’s 10. Kate Cryderman had nine points, Jessica Latousek and Taylor Paddock each added five, Molly Steck had three, while Molly Grager had two and Taylor Lloyd had two.
Lady Kangs post wins over Sammamish, Redmond
The Lake Washington Lady Kangs earn two more wins last week, beating Sammamish on Dec. 15 and Redmond on Dec. 17.
The Kangs beat the Totems 67-31 on Wednesday.
Petyon Wozeniak had 13 points during the win, while her teammate Hunter Hopkins added 12 to the score. Both Kate Whitfield and Melissa Wilson had 10 overall, while Sara Wilson had seven, Taylor Solomon had five and Cassie Lively added four. Kalena Dierickx, Whitney Dunlap and Taylor Irving added two each.
On Friday night the team hosted former 4A rival Redmond, winning 57-41.
Solomon posted a team high of 21 points during the win over the Mustangs, as Wilson put 13 on the scoreboard. Hopkins had eight, Dunlap six, Whitfield six and Wozeniak three.
