The Juanita High School volleyball team edged Sammamish, 3-2, on Tuesday in Kirkland.

The Rebels began the match with a 25-9 win and then gave up the second game 25-18. Juanita held its ground during the third game with a 25-21 victory but lost a close game four 25-23. The Rebels held on during the tiebreaker to win the match, 15-10.

The Rebels will play at 7 p.m. on Thursday in Bellevue against Interlake.
