Emerald City Smoothie, a Park Place tenant for more than 13 years, has moved less than a quarter mile to a new location off of Central Way.

It will be one of the few businesses occupying the new Capri apartments/retail space that took over the old White Swan car wash/Chevron gas station.

Emerald City Smoothie is known for its nutritious smoothies and loved by everyone.

Emerald City Smoothie owner wanted to keep the shop in the heart of Kirkland.

“We love Kirkland and have so many loyal customers that frequent our store. We are excited to have a brand new store and can’t wait for everyone to enjoy it,” said store manager Laura Thompson.

The store will hold a ribbon cutting and grand opening party, with half off smoothies, on Feb. 25 from 4-7 p.m., with the Kirkland Chamber of Commerce.
