Freiheit & Ho Architects, based in Kirkland, has announced the hiring of Jannita Bolin, Dillon Gogarty, Cathleen Matuzak, and Darin Russell as Architectural Designers.
Bolin is a recent graduate of Washington State University with a Masters of Architecture.
Bolin was part of a team that submitted an installation for the Bellevue Art Museum Biennial Show in 2015. The installation comprised of reclaimed wood from a grain silo in the Palouse region. It received an honorable mention from the AIA and was purchased by the City of Bellevue to be installed as public art. During her graduate year, Bolin worked on an EPA funded project to develop an insulated (modular) wall system “TrashWall” made from found materials (trash) as a solution to people who live in low income housing.
Gogarty is a recent graduate of Washington State University with a Masters of Architecture.
Matuzak is a recent graduate of Kent State University with a Masters of Architecture and a Masters of Business Administration. Russell is a graduate of University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Masters of Architecture.
Bolin, Gogarty, Matuzak, and Russell are working on a variety of projects such a new assisted living facility in Seattle, new and remodeled retail developments, and tenant improvements for multiple medical and dental offices in the surrounding area.
