Between March 6-12, there were 302 traffic incidents, 28 traffic accidents, two DUIs, 30 general traffic incidents, 31 alarm calls, six abandoned vehicles, eight burglaries, 11 incidents of fraud, 13 civil incidents, six cases of harassment, 17 thefts, six vehicle prowls, eight warrants served, 11 noise complaints, six animal calls, eight incidents of domestic violence, four incidents of malicious mischief, one rape, eight disturbances, two trespasses, three sex offenses, two assaults, three hit and runs and 22 incidents involving at least one arrest.

March 11

Warrant: 11:45 p.m., 11200 block of NE 124th St. A 20-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

March 10

Warrant: 4:43 p.m., 9700 block of NE Juanita Dr. A 22-year-old woman was arrested for a warrant out of Seattle Municipal Court for $5,000. She was handcuffed, taken into custody and released to the Kirkland Correction’s staff.

March 8

Violation of order: 10:15 p.m., 7500 block of 117th Ave NE. A 39-year-old woman entered her residence, yelled at her 42-year-old husband, took the family dog and a picture from the wall and then left, in violation of a no contact order. She fled the area before the police arrived and was charged for the violation. The case was forwarded to the Kirkland Municipal Prosecutor for filing.

Drugs: 4:20 p.m., 12500 block of Totem Lake Blvd. While stopped at a red light, a cop noticed a 20-year-old man smoking a marijuana bowl while driving. The man did not show signs of impairment as he had just left work, but he was ultimately arrested for possessing marijuana and negligent driving.

March 7

Theft: 5 p.m., 9400 block of 117th Ave NE. A 46-year-old man had $600 in cash stolen from his BECU account by his 23-year-old “marijuana-addicted” stepson. This was the fourth time the stepson has stolen money from him. The stepfather and the man’s mother asked that he be arrested for theft.

March 5

Suspended license: 12:43 p.m., 11700 block of NE 118th St. A 23-year-old man drove a motorcycle to his court hearing on his suspended driver’s license despite the fact that he has no motorcycle endorsement. Charges were filed through investigation.
