Juanita golfer finishes 10th at state tournament

Juanita's Frank Garber posted the team high during Wednesday's final round of the 3A state tournament in Spokane. Garber finished in 10th place individually after a first day score of 71 and a day two of 74 for a total of 145. The winner, Eric Gravbrot, from West Valley, had a two day total of 137.

Teammate Michael Bell tied for 21st with a two day total of 150 strokes. Colton Kleis finished tied for 37th with 157.

As a team the Rebels finished in sixth place with 52 points. Seattle Prep won the event with a team score of 87.

In the girls competition Juanita’s Jessica Latousek finished the tournament tied for 31st place with a two day total of 186, while Lake Washington’s Elena Good had a 195 total.
