The Cross Kirkland Corridor (CKC) will be intermittently closed Thursday and Friday, July 28 and 29.

The first closure will take place in the Highland Pass area, Northeast 112th Street to 110th Avenue Northeast, between 7 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. both days in order to perform important surface water maintenance.

City crews will also close the CKC for mowing on the same days. Crews will be mowing both sides of the full length of the CKC.

The mowing will begin at the north end of the CKC at 7 a.m. on Thursday and move south to 108th Avenue Northeast and then turn around and mow on the opposite side going north. Mowing is anticipated to be complete by 2:30 p.m. each day.

Passing the mower is prohibited. Officials with the city of Kirkland urge the use alternative routes.
