While the summer has been exceptionally warm, Kirkland clothing boutiques have been planning for autumn weather and placing orders for fall fashion. The Greater Kirkland Chamber of Commerce is rolling out a new event for consumers to see those fashions with a Fall Fashion Night on Thursday, Sept. 19.

The Kirkland Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with The Spa at PRO Sports Club and local merchants, is producing the 2013 Fall Fashion Night. Downtown Kirkland will be host to a fashion walk from 5-7 p.m. and a fashion runway show from 7:30-9 p.m.

The fashion walk is an open house of participating merchants and will be a great opportunity to learn more about new trends in fashion, hairstyles  and accessories. A map will be advertised in downtown storefront windows and at the Chamber website identifying participating shops.

The evening will culminate with a runway show sponsored by The Spa at PRO Sports Club. A large tent will be set up between Milagro Cantina and Hector’s restaurants at 150 Lake Street.

Beginning at 7:30 p.m., individuals who purchased tickets for the fashion show will be treated to hors d’oeuvres from Hector’s, champagne, wine, gift bags and a runway show with models dressed in clothing and accessories from Via Lago, Champagne Taste, Kate Mensah Designs, Blue Luna, Hepburn, Sweet and Sassy, Seattle Thread Company, Seduce Boutique, Lake Street Diamond Company, Serendipity and other local merchants. Hair and makeup will be done by Bella Sirena and The Spa at PRO Sports Club.

A limited number of tickets to the fashion runway show are available for $60 each. Preferred seating is $75 each and VIP seats are $100 each.

A portion of the proceeds will go to support the Kirkland-based Washington Scholarship Foundation, which helps fund the Miss Washington Pageant.
