My son, Dale Tupling, who I am in contact with through Facebook, sent me the story in the Nov. 5 issue (“Support from 7,000 miles away”). I am so glad that there are those out there that are willing to report and post about the war in this fashion. It is difficult on families – the wait, wonder, and fear can take over ones life if one lets it. Families are left to a single parent raising children, which is heartbreaking. Mothers of the deployed wonder if they will see their own again.
