Northwest University’s Brianna Fiso has been named the Red Lion Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the Cascade Collegiate Conference as announced by the league office Monday.

Fiso, a 6-0 senior forward from Highline, Wash., registered a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds in the 73-70 loss to Corban on Friday night and had key rebounds and seven points in the second half in the 63-55 upset win over Northwest Christian the next night. She averaged 15 points per game and 9.5 rebounds, just short of averaging a double-double for the two game series. She also shot 48 percent from the field and converted 75 percent of her free throws.
