The Lake Washington High School baseball team lost to the Islanders, 2-1, Monday on Mercer Island.

The Kangs took a 1-0 lead during the fourth inning, as Jake Wikel blasted a solo home run.

But Lake Washington could not hold the lead, giving up one run during the fifth and another run during the sixth.

Jake Masters took the loss for the Kangs despite throwing six-and-two-thirds innings with five strikeouts.
