Celebrate the winter holidays at the Puget Sound’s premier long-distance, holiday themed running and walking event while at the same time giving yourself a gift of health during the seventh annual 12K’s of Christmas Holiday Run.

Run or walk either a 12K run/walk or 5K run/walk and then stay for the post-event celebration, including a free kids dash for tots 10 years old and under, free food, music, dancing, a holiday costume contest and the opportunity to join in the holiday celebration.

Registration begins at 8 .m. Sunday, Dec. 20 at Marina Park in Kirkland.

Business, organizations or volunteer groups interested in helping to promote Kirkland (and your organization) for free during the event have the opportunity to manage a cheer station location. Participants can choose from one of the 12 days of Christmas on-course cheer stations and must commit to having at least 10 people at the cheer station. For information, call 206-729-9972.
