Kirkland Women’s Club awards three scholarships

The Kirkland Women’s Club awarded scholarships to three young women from Lake Washington High School and Juanita High School on May 2. A ceremony was held at the club, which included school principals, counselors, the student and their family.

The Kirkland Women’s Club awarded scholarships to three young women from Lake Washington High School and Juanita High School on May 2. A ceremony was held at the club, which included school principals, counselors, the student and their family.

The application process started in mid-April and the Kirkland Women’s Club Education Committee awarded the scholarships based on specific criteria.

Seniors Sara Wilson and Holly Sullivan from LWHS each received $1,000 and the third senior Itzell Rolon from Juanita High School received a $600 scholarship.
