Andrews, Doris Elaine (Stumpf), age 81, of Wichita, KS, joined her husband, the love of her life, Weldon R. “Andy” Andrews, Sunday, November 22, 2010, with her family by her side. Funeral services were held Tuesday, at Smith Mortuary, Rd, Derby, KS, interment followed at Littleton Cemetery, Mulvane, KS. Doris was born July 16, 1929, in Wichita, to Harry & Gladys (Harwood) Stumpf, and grew up in Mulvane, graduating from Mulvane High School in 1947. She was the office manager at Tarrant Electric and personal secretary to the former Wichita Mayor, William (Bill) Tarrant. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and several aunts and uncles. Survivors include: daughters Briana Mitchell, and Brenda (Sam) Rongkawit, all of Wichita; step-children, Diane Matuska, Donna (Louie) Rubbelke, and John (Karen) Andrews, all of the Seattle area; brother, Harry (Patricia Rogers) Stumpf, of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Mandy Mitchell, Becky (Joe) Kallas, and Seth and Tara Rongkawit, all of Wichita, step-grandchildren, Aaron (Jill) Andrews, Nicholas Andrews and fiancée, Christina Haight, Mariya (Brian) Zorotovich; great-granddaughter, Ye Jin Rubbelke Zorotovich.; nephew, David Stumpf; niece, Kathryn Stumpf; best friends, Patsy Millen, Claremore, OK, Debbie Ely, Walla Walla, WA, Norma Dixon, Wichita; and last but not least her Chihuahua, “Boo”.
