Angie Eggers

Angelica (Angie) Eggers, long time resident of Kirkland, WA passed away on January 27, 2011 at the age of 90. She was born on April 29, 1920 in Snohomish, WA. She married Dale Eggers in 1937 and together they enjoyed 54 years of marriage until his passing in 1992. She loved her home and neighbors in Juanita, enjoyed gardening, sewing and baking. She was a member of the Kirkland Heritage Society where she took great pride in sharing local history with others. Angie is survived by her son, Dale (Jean) Eggers of Milwaukie, OR, her two daughters, Ilene Voltaire of Sequim, WA and Wendy (Steve) DeVoe of Concord, CA; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A memorial service in her honor will be held Friday, February 4, 2011 at 11:00am, at the Kirkland Heritage Hall, 203 Market St., Kirkland. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kirkland Heritage Society.
