Marian Josephine George August 9, 1926 – June 4, 2013

Marian Josephine George was born August 9, 1926, in Duluth, Minnesota and died at the age of 86 on June 4, 2013 in Kirkland, WA.

She was the mother of five children and is survived by: Diane Woods of Bellevue, WA, Susan Newman of Kirkland, WA, Linda Gillaspie of Temple, Texas, and James Moore of Anchorage, Alaska, three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, her siblings and friends.

Marian lived most of her adult life in the great Northwest and belonged to the following organizations holding offices in each: Eastern Star, Auburn Hospital Auxiliary, the National Association of Accountants, the National Association of Professional Secretaries, and was a den mother for the Cub Scouts.

Marian had an unending and unconditional love for her children and family. She was a good mother, a true American patriot and had the highest regard for the U.S. Marine Corps and military services.

Marian will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her. A private family service will be held. The family would like to thank those that cared for Marian the last years of her life.
