Gilbert L Kvam

January 10, 1915 – January 13, 2009Gilbert L. Kvam was born Jan. 10, 1915 in Bellingham, WA. He attended the University of Washington, graduating from the School of Pharmacy in 1941. He married the love of his life, Anne, in 1944. They were married for 61 years, until she passed away in 2005. Gil was a Naval Officer, served in the Ammunition Depot in Hastings, NE during WWII. After the War, he continued his career in Pharmacy owning Kvam Drug in downtown Kirkland, where he worked for 20 years. Gil is survived by his three children, Janice Schoen, Craig Kvam and Kaye Pickrell, eight grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
